HOW TO REGISTER WITH MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS (MDOC)
Victims in Montana have the right to be notified when the custody status of an adult offender changes, but they must register with MDOC to receive the information.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Most convicted felons in Montana do not go to prison. MDOC places about 80 percent of these offenders in community-based alternatives such as drug and alcohol treatment programs and prerelease centers.
