Washington SAVIN
Welcome to the homepage of Washington Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification (SAVIN), a free and confidential telephone and/or web service that allows victims and other concerned citizens to track the custody status of offenders in county and city jails and the Department of Corrections. SAVIN provides victims of crime two important features:

1. Information - Updated information is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service provides offender information either by phone or on-line.

2. Notification - Anyone may register for automatic notification by phone or email when there is a change in an offender's custody status (including release, transfer or escape).

SAVIN is totally confidential. Offenders will not know if anyone has registered for notification about them. DO NOT depend solely on the SAVIN system for your safety. If you feel you are at risk, take precautions as if the offender has already been released. If you feel you are in danger, call 911 immediately. For assistance in planning for your safety, please contact the statewide domestic violence hotline at 1-800-562-6025 or the Office of Crime Victim Advocacy at 1-800-822-1067.

SAVIN Protective Order (VPO).
SAVIN Protective Order (VPO) is a free and confidential service that:

1. Allows petitioners to register on-line or by phone to be notified when a protective order of any type has been served by police.

2. Gives a 90 day advance notice when the protective order is about to expire.

3. Petitioners can register without the respondent's (offender's) knowledge.

You may register online or by calling 1-877-242-4055. Operators are available 24 hours a day to help you register, answer your questions, and provide information about local advocate services that offer resources and support. When you register, you will need to provide a telephone number and a four digit PIN (Personal Identification Number).

DO NOT depend solely on SAVIN Protective Order telephone notification for your safety. If you have concerns about your safety or questions about COURT ORDER, call the Washington State Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-562-6025 (v/tty). For SEXUAL ASSAULT ORDERS contact the Office of Crime Victim Advocacy at 1-800-822-1067. IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE IN DANGER, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY!
